"To ground is to pour your energy into the earth and feel the warm calm energy in exchange"
The origins of grounding dates back thousands of years ago. The ancestors discovered the Earths power and how we are able to receive and exchange energy between humans and nature. Our recent event was hosted in East Baltimore in Collington Square Park and we focused on grounding, community, and connection. We grounded with "Mova Nature" through SOUND, yoga, JUICE, and movement. We started the day with fruit, cold-press juices, cucumber-mint water, and herbal tea to nourish our bodies. Next we were guided through mindful meditation and yoga with yoga instructor Paris Elliot. We focused on intentional movement, deep breathing, and affirmations.
We followed up with sound of Afro-beats and an invigorating display of movement and belly-dance from local Baltimore performer Sun. Our vendors also included Keys Development - a Mental Health awareness organization, Art by Batlimore artist Mikaila, and more. We are grateful to have the opportunity gather, ground, and nourish our bodies through Mova Nature.
We hope you enjoyed this event, and if you missed it no worries we will be hosting another soon!
